On 26 August — International Dog Day — The Marriage Office is celebrating love of all kinds with Paws & Promises, a very special wedding day where your four-legged best friend is invited to be part of the ceremony.

Because your best friend deserves a front-row seat to your forever

There are two kinds of love that are truly unconditional: the love you have for your person… and the love you have for your dog.

So why should you have to choose between them on your wedding day? Your dog has probably been there through the first date, the proposal, the happy tears, the stressful wedding planning and every “Are we really doing this?” conversation.

They’ve earned their place at the altar.

Say “I do” with your best friend by your side

Imagine walking into your ceremony and seeing your favourite furry face waiting for you.

Perhaps they’re dressed for the occasion in a fabulous bow tie, flower collar or their finest wedding-day outfit. Maybe they’re carrying the rings. Maybe they’re simply sitting proudly beside you, wondering why everybody is making such a fuss.

Whatever their role, they’ll be part of the memories you’ll treasure forever.

At The Marriage Office, we’re making Paws & Promises a celebration of the beautiful bond between couples and their dogs — with a wedding ceremony that puts love, laughter and your loyal companion front and centre.

Come dressed up. Come casual. Come with flowers, rings, happy tears and treats in your pocket.

Most importantly, come together.

Ready to make it official?

If your dog is your constant companion, your unofficial therapist, your walking buddy and the third member of your relationship, there’s really only one question left:

Will they be there when you say “I do”?

On 26 August, bring your beloved, bring your besties and — most importantly — bring the dog.

We’ll provide the bow-vows, the ceremony and the legal bit.

You provide the love.

And we’ll let your best friend provide the wagging tail.
