Our spaces

We have multiple spaces in the Marriage Office that you can choose as the backdrop to your ceremony. Indoor, outdoor, and even partner venues off-site for those destination elopements in a forest or on a farm. These spaces are a work-in-progress, and constantly evolving. Some couples will add their own flair to their chosen space, so nothing is static!

More than just a Marriage Office

The Margaret River Marriage Office was founded by Celebrant Anita Revel, who describes herself as one of Australia’s most innovative Celebrants. She founded the Marriage Office not only to service couples seeking a simple yet beautiful ceremony, but also as a creative outlet for her creative heart.

The space designed, built and styled by Anita, is jam-packed with themed walls and creative corners. It exists as a space for:

  • Micro weddings
  • Curated events
  • Photoshoot studio

Micro Weddings:

Signed, sealed, registerd! Anita intends the Marriage Office to be an inclusive space, where a stable of Celebrants will offer their services on weekdays during school hours, or by appointment. It will even cater for alternative ceremonies not related to marriage — think 5-year contracts, sologamy, baby-namings, and more. You think it, she will design it.

Curated events:

Want to record your podcast with an amazing backdrop? Or celebrate a significant birthday with a photo fest? The space will hold up to 10 people (or 6, seated). Got a small event in mind? Get in touch, let’s see how we can make it happen!

Photoshoot studio:

Everywhere you look, there is something to wow you. From the gold door to the shimmer wall, to the Wes Anderson styled bay window, to the sweet-dreamers installation, to the love-themed murals and sculptures down Lovers Lane, you are spoilt for choice for choosing a backdrop for your shoot.
